The Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission

As the supervisory entity responsible for the state’s compliance with the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act and the State Multidisciplinary Task Force on Children’s Justice, the Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission works to develop effective responses to the problems of juvenile delinquency and child abuse.

Executive Committee

The Executive Committee provides strategic oversight and direction of all activities of the Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission. The Committee helps plan the Commission’s meeting agendas and approves funding proposals.

The Child Welfare Committee addresses statewide issues concerning child maltreatment. This body serves as a branch of the Arizona Juvenile Justice Commission (AJJC) to focus on initiatives that promote and support the protection and wellbeing of all children in the state of Arizona.
